I have worn braces to close the gap on my lower teeth for two years but there is no difference. Can Invisalign help me?
Q. Dear Dr Rob, I am 28 years old female. I have bn wearing braces in my lower teeth to close the gap since about 2 years now but its not working cz i am from India and i never visited any dentist since i came here. I wanted to know if invisalign is a treatment option for me Thanx and regards,
A. In principle clear positioner system such as invisalign will work on most cases. However to wear braces for two years without a result may mean that there is an underlying reason that needs to be addressed first. I would alsao recommend at least one opinion from an orthodontist on the GDC specialist list ( www.gdc.org ) in cases where initial treatment has not been successful. Hope this helps Rob
