I have very strong, healthy teeth but my right hand front tooth is loose

Q. I am fortunate to have very strong, healthy teeth. I am 62 years old and have lost 5 teeth in my youth, towards the back of my mouth. I have no dentures. My family kept most of their teeth all their lives (into 90’s). A few months ago, at a time of stress, I became aware that my right hand front tooth was loose - I have no idea why. Nothing happened that I can recall to cause it and I was not suddenly aware of it, it happened gradually. It is sore if I try to bite with it but otherwise does not bother me, although I am concerned that I should do something about it. I had hoped it would reseat itself! My dentist is all but retired and I am VERY nervous of finding a new one. I am also bothered about having to have it out as it is in the front and my teeth are very white and even at present. I have never smoked.

A. hi, the best thing even for reassurance would be to seek the advice of a dentist. if you give me an idea of the area you live in i would be more than happy to recommend a dentist to you.
