I have unstraight teeth and an overbite. I have been advised fixed braces, a lot of repositioning at 36?

Q. Hi I have unstraight teeth and an overbite of 1cm I have consulted an orthodontist and been advised that I would have to have 4 molar teeth removed and fixed braces, a lot of repositioning needs to occur. My question is I am 36 years old, my bones have hardened, what are the chances of repositioning teeth at this age? and having a good result? as I feel my teeth have less mobility than even a year ago.
