I have two teeth missing and a denture which I do not like

Q. Dear Dr Komal Suri. I am a 48 year old woman and have two teeth missing on the upper top 5 and 6. i currently wear a denture plate which i detest. When I go out socialising i feel I have no confidence in talking to people male and female. I tried bridge work a couple of year ago but got a phobia with it and had to have it taken out. Since then I have worn a denture. Please help me.

A. Have you considered implants. These are titanium roots that are placed into your jaw and a crown is made to go on top of them.
This is normally the best treatment to replace the missing teeth. The treatment takes approximately 9 months as there is a 4-6 month integrating time for the implant.

If you are interested in this treatment you need to have a consultation with an implant dentist so that you can see whether you are suitable for your treatment.
Kind Regards
