Q. Hi Dr i currently have 4 front crowns in my upper jaw that are continously coming loose due to fractures and wear and tear. i only have 1 to the left and 3 to the right of my natural teeth left in the upper with no molars left in lower jaw either. i have recieved a quote of £7,000 for impalnts but feel this is a lot of money for only 4 teeth when i could have a complete upper denture fitted for less, i am also concerned that although i now take care of my remaining teeth the damege is already done and i will only have to spend thousands of more pounds throughout time having individual implants fitted.

A. £7000 is a lot of money but it might be worth paying it to avoid full dentures. Fixed teeth should be more comfortable than dentures in the long run
