Q. Hi,i have recently had dental work done abroad(Turkey)which included implants,bridges & crowns,although i am very happy with the appearance,it has left me with a problem with my speech, mainly s’s, friends say i am talking as though i have badly fitted dentures

A. The answer is to go back to Turkey and discuss this with the dentist who carried out the treatment. Many people have work done abroad as it may be cheaper- but this is the problem when issues arise afterwards. Travel expenses aren’t always budgeted for- but that is always the risk. Hope you get it sorted.
