I have periodontal disease. Is there anything that can be done?

Q.
I was recently referred to a dental hospital by my dentist, the consultant says I have periodontal disease and there is nothing that can be done. Not even implants due to extensive bone loss. I wanted veneers and my dentist had discussed fitting a splint and then veneers. Are there really no options available to me cosmetically??
A.
It is impossible to say without me taking a look. I am happy to ffer you a free consultation for a 2nd opinion. Please feel free to contact the surgery to arrange an appointment.
