Q. I have only 3 upper teeth and 9 lower teeth due to severe gum disease which wasnt picked up by my dentist and was only discovered when I changed dentists.I know I will lose more on the bottom.I have a denture fitted but at every opportunity I have to take it out.My mouth is constantly dry, eating is a nightmare as it hurts to chew or bite so I am consequently swalling my food almost whole. This has in turn upset my digestive system and I just feel so miserable all the time. Is it possible to get implants on the nhs? How do you qualify .Im a single person and although I work I have a low wage.Im a 53 year old female. Please help
A. I’m very sorry but you won’t get implants on the NHS, maybe you could try a differnet type of denture as this can often improve things
