A. It is perfectly fine to have orthodontic treatment at your age. As with any treatment there are always small discrepencies in the final result but for the most part it will resolve any malocclusion that you have.
Side effects to orthodontic treatment are very occasionally a nerve can die or a root can begin to dissolve. These occur extremely rarely and it should deter you from having the treatment done
