I Have Lost Teeth At The Front From Root Resoption And Suffer From Dry Mouth. Can I Get Dentures Or Implants?

Q.
Dr. Bohara, I have seen several dentists with no help. I have lost teeth in the front due to root resorption, and I now need a root canal on another front tooth. I suffer with dry mouth and halitosis and when ask about dentures I am laughed at and told they won’t pull my teeth. This has affecting my life terribly and I don’t have the money to continually put in my teeth and it isn’t helping. Can you please advise me what needs to be done?
A.
Hello. Sorry to hear about your circumstances but it is impossible for me to advice in your particular situation without examining your mouth in person. My advice would be to get a few opinions from experienced cosmetic dentists, look around the web for local clinics offering free consultations, you can check price lists also on most websites. At least when you know what to save up for you have a goal in mind to focus on. You could try and ask your dentist to refer you to a dental hospital for reduced rates. The waiting list for these can be lengthy, however. Good Luck, Dr Kalpesh Bohara.
