I Have Long Teeth, Can I Get Them Shortened?

Q.
Hi doc. Well my question. Basically the best way I can describe it is that I have long length teeth. I want to reshape them as i am marrying soon. Is it possible to reshape them into normal length teeth via cosmetic surgery and moreover by changing the shape of teeth? If I could get this done then would my jaw shape remain same or it will affect as well. And what are the disadvantages of cosmetic surgery. Kindly elaborate. I really Need ur opinion. Please answer me as soon as possible. It would be a great favour for me.

Trying to make bigger teeth smaller is fraught with problems . If it is an issue of a lot of gum showing when you smile consider lip repositioning surgery with a plastic surgeon .

if you want to make the teeth physically smaller they will have to be drilled down and veneered/crowned . this is asking for trouble in the long term with the high probability of need for root canal and possible tooth loss later in life for a case of this nature.
