I have just had a veneer replaced on my top front

Q. I have just had a veneer replaced on my top front tooth, has to which dropped off after 1 day and was then stuck back on with something different as the normal stuff wasn’t working (sorry i can’t give you the technical words for what was used). I am in extreme pain every time i bite into something. I have been back to my dentist who took an xray but could see no reason as to why i am having this trouble. I really need some answers that i can perhaps discuss in my next visit, so as too rectify this problem. Do you have any suggestions please? Many Thanks
