I have had nhs dentures since 1993 and had them copied
Q. I have had nhs dentures since 1993 and had them copied to stronger more natural looking ones about 4 years ago but latley the bottom ones seem to be bigger and not fitting so well what should i do if i go to a cosmetic dental pratice how much would this cost and how much differance would this make to my appearance
A. The lower denture may be loose because the bone may have resorbed and your jaw will be a different shape. You can have the lower denture relined so that youn don’t have to have a new one made and there is no need to go a cosmetic dentist. Most private dentist can make high standard dentures.
My advice would be to have a reline on your denture so that it fits more snuggly again
Kind Regards
