I have had a Root Canal of one of my front tooth
Q. I have had a root canal of one of my front tooth six year ago. I have recently started to feel extreme sensitivity in the other front tooth (not the one treated). Both of the teeth were crowned at the time of RCT. What can be the possible cause and how should I go about it?
A. You will need to be assessed by your dentist. It may well be the case that you have a new abscess forming under your other crown. The crown needs to be assessed for fit and decay present at its’ margins. You may require a new crown as well as a root canal treatment.
