I have gum disease and i only have 5 teeth left

Q. I feel so embarrassed about my teeth, i’m only in my 40’s, and have about 5 teeth left. As i am a disabled person i found it impossible to get to a dentist, so now i have gum disease and very worried, because i am afraid there is nothing they can do. Please help

A. The first step would be to try to get to a hygienist regularly to help keep the teeth you have. The second would be to discuss with a dentist the options avaible to you. For missing teeth, the options are either implants or a denture. Both of these options will fill in your gaps and relieve you of any emabaressment your teeth may be causing you. Prices on bot of thesetreatment vary from clinic to clinic to i recommend you book into a dentist that you are able to get to regularly and go form there.
