I have gum disease and am embarrassed with my teeth

Q. I have gum disease and am embarrassed with my teeth. My gums have been receding gradually for a few years now and this has caused my bottom front four teeth to become lose and gaps are starting to appear. my top four teeth are also beginning to start having gaps.what options of dental work would i have open to me with my particular problem ? and how much would it cost ? I just want my teeth to look nice when i smile.

A. The priority is stabilising your gum disease. The cost is is too variable to quote  from less than £100 to large sums over long periods of time.

Once your gum disease is controlled, treatments like Porcelain Veneers are an option. In Birmingham these cost £300-600 per veneer. Before treatment simulation is very useful to improve the final result but might be an additional charge ( we charge £100 for simulation to cover our costs but credit the money back if treatment is carried out )

A less popular option is removing the teeth and replacing them with a denture.

Hope this helps
