I have four missing teeth at the front, what are my replacement options?

Q.
Hello doctor,

I had a cycling accident several years ago and unfortunately lost 4 of my front teeth at the top. I have currently got a denture in place but wanted to be able to have something more natural looking, I have asked for a bridge as I was advised by the dentist this would be possible, I have recently moved dentists and my current Dentist states that this is not possible because I have for teeth missing, what is your opinion on this matter as a work colleague has a bridge and has his 4 teeth missing at the front also. kind regards and thank you very much for your time

A.
Hello,

It might be better to consider dental implants. A long span bridge tends to fail fairly quickly while implants will last longer. You might need healthy teeth drilling down for a bridge as well. ask your dentist for all the options. Unfortunately bridges aren’t always available on the NHS hope this helps
