Q. Hi, I chipped my front tooth around July last year and just under half of it went. Im 14 and I got a filling put in. I was wondering if I can wear a mouth guard without the filling coming out. Also what procedures will happen in the future? Thanks.
A. It would be advisable for you to wear a mouthguard anyway- especially when playing sports- as long as the mouthgurad has been specifically made for your mouth.
In the future, the filling may come off and when you’re older, you may want to decide to have a crown- but I would honestly not think about that just yet……hope this inforamtion has helped you
