I have done root canel on my front tooth about 5 years. How long can i stay like this without the fear of a brittle tooth?

Q. Dear Doctor, I have done root canel on my front tooth about 5 years ago. I still fell. I feel that my tooth is still strong. Do i need to do crowning? How long can i stay like this without the fear of a brittle tooth? Thanks

A. Ideally the tooth should be crowned to improve its strength but all cases are diferent I would seek advice from your dentist
