I have crooked front teeth I’m considering invisalign or veneers

Q. Hi there I have crooked front teeth – one sticks out and is slightly turned and the other is in towards my mouth, making the sticking out tooth look worse. I’m considering invisalign (I’m early 40’s and have a job where I meet lots of people) or veneers. I am convinced that my teeth are still moving as the they have got much worse over the years. If I have veneers can my teeth still move and if so, how does the affect the veneer.

A. You make some great points. The teeth can still move unless you wear ” permanent retention “. This might be a wire glued to the back of teeth, a thin hard plastic shell worn every night or fusing veneers together. they have different advantages / disadvantages that you would need to assess after examination.
As the teeth moves out of line so does the veneer.  Another point to consider is why the teeth are moving and can the cause be corrected , gum disease and occlusal “bite ” problems etc.
We offer a free intial consultation with a dentist but I think it likely that you would needs Xrays / study casts & photos to fully answer this ( cost not exceeding £100)
