I have been waiting for braces for over three years. I am now 19. Will I have to pay for them on the NHS?

Q. Hi, I am just wondering about braces on the NHS. I have been on a waiting list for over 3 and a half years, and they have now contacted me, saying that I can go for an appointment with them within the next 3 months. My issue is, that I am now 19 and a half. Will I have to pay for my braces, even though I have been on the waiting list since I was 16, before turning 18? Thanks,
A. I am not sure of the Nhs regulations you would have to ask them ther question. Sorry I can’t be of much use.
