i have been told i need four front crowns

Q. hi i have been to a dentist and the options he gave was to have crowns on my front four or have a bridge but to have crowns it was 600 a tooth but was wondering with a bridge is it for each tooth or the whole bridge as i need the 4 at the front replacing and was wondering what would be cheaper thanks

A. Don’t go for what is cheaper, go for what is best. This is your health you are considering. I don’t understand why a bridge is an option instead of crowns. Does this mean that your dentist is going to extract the teeth that he is suggesting placing crowns on. Usually a bridge is priced per unit. Therefore if there are four units it would actually be the same price as 4 crowns
