I have been told I need a partial denture, how long will this take to make and what is the cost?

Q.
I have to bridges in my mouth one on the left hand side with two teeth bonded and another on my right side three teeth bonded my old dentist said they have become infected and ther are better taking out and giving me a partual denture how long will this take and will i be walking about with teeth missing and how much will it cost thank you.
A.
With a denture it does take 4-6 weeks to be made, however, sometimes it can be made faster. This is dependent on which lab your dentist uses. Unfortunately during this time you won’t have anything to replace the teeth or gaps. You could speak with your dentist about having a immediate denture until your permanent one is made – this does increase the cost of your overall treatment.

Dentures range in price depending on what the denture is made from and how many teeth need replacing, but for basic plastic dentures, they tend to start from £800.
