i have been told by my dentist that need to have 2 dental implants on my bottom jaw

Q. I am 18 years old and have recently been told by my dentist that i would need to have 2 dental implants fitted on my bottom jaw I was also informed that i would need a bone graft from my hip to build onto the thin bone that was left. i have had the two Gaps (which are towards the back of my mouth) for about 8 years when my adult teeth were removed (but i do not know why they were removed at that time)I am a student, can i get the implants on the nhs since it was not my fault the teeth were removed?

A. hi many thanks for your enquiry, two qualify for dental implants on the nhs, you need to be referred to a restorative consultatant at your nearest dental hospital, the implant treatment is generally only granted to patients that have lost the teeth due to trauma or the teeth never coming out in the first place. hope this is helpful.
