I have been experiencing a dreadful taste in my mouth what do you think the reason is?

Q. I have been experiencing a dreadful taste in my mouth and I feel it is coming from either my tooth that is cover by a veneer or my gum as they appear a little inflamed. I have been to the dentist and they state that the xray appears fine and they can not see anything wrong. I feel there is as the taste is unpleasant and don’t feel right. Have you ever experience this and what is it??

A. As well as tooth decay and gum disease bad taste can come from a medical cause such as medication, gastric problems, lung problems etc.  A visit to your doctor may be in order if the dentist has given you the all clear
