I have bad breath, why?
Q.
Hi, i have been suffering with bad breath for about ten years. I recently went to my dentist and he said that my teeth were fine. I then went to my doctor who said to see a dentist. In both cases no tests were carried out. It is a hugely embarrassing problem and my question is where do i go and what do i say to get the help i need? I do not smoke, have impeccable oral hygiene and eat a balanced diet. I have a bad taste in the back of my throat and have tried some of the most popular products for stopping bad breath but to no avail. Thanks

This can be a very difficult problem to resolve if you’d tried all the usual things. It can sometimes be due to a post nasal drip, you’d need referral to an ENT specialist by your GP to see if this might be the cause
