I have an overbite and jaw ache, not sure if i need braces
Q. Hi im 13 im not quite sure if i have an overbite but my top teeth overlap my bottom ones but my teeth are quite straight and there isn’t any over crowding in my mouth but its giving me quite sore pain along my jaw and i keep hearing a kind of cruching sound everytime i move it i haven’t acctually mentioned it to my denist yet but do you think i’ll need braces or headgear or anything to help it??
A. This depends on how deep the over bite is, the crunching sound could be coming from a click in your jaw joint, so I would go back to your dentist and tell him you concerns so he can decide the best traetment for you

Hi,
I am 30 yrs old and just had braces put on. It’s been a couple of days now and i have pain, discomfort, irritated. I also find that when my teeth touch each other they are extremly sensitive. I can’t eat properly. I understand that this is normal, but for how long will this last?
