I have a very large dog who ran into my front tooth

Q. Hi, I have a very large dog who ran into my front tooth a couple of years ago. Since then I have suffered pain that runs up towards my nose. Over the last couple of months the pain has subsided and the tooth is now turning a grey colour. I think it might be ‘dead’ I am absolutely terrified of the dentist and am not registered to one. What treatments are available and what do I need to do? Help- I have very nice teeth apart from this and am terrified to go and see anyone!

A.
