i have a small mouth and protruding teeth

Q. Doc. I have a small mouth which resulted in several trips to the dentist as a child and years of unsuccessful and often painful othodontic treatment. Now aged 39 I am more concious of my very, very nicable protruding teeth especially one of my front ones. I am told my gums are healthy but have become concious of them over the years. However midful of the cost what would the best course be?
