I Have A Long Front Bottom Tooth Which Is Very Noticeable When I Talk. What Treatment Could I Have For This?

Q.
Hello Andrew, I have a question for you. I have a long front bottom tooth which is very noticeable when I talk. My dentist says it’s because of my bite as I have a bridge on my front upper set of teeth. It is greatly affecting my confidence and ideally I really need to sort this out. Could I have a brace fitted or maybe have the tooth capped?
What treatment could I have for this and what are the prices? Also is it possible to pay each month instead of all at once? I look forward to your reply. Thank you.

Hello and thank you for getting in touch. Either might work for you depending on the severity severity of your situation which I cannot judge without assessing you. As a guide braces cost from £1600 and crowns from £550. You may also be given other treatments options after a full consultation with your dentist. Search the internet for the various practices in your area and see if any provide payment plans to spread the costs. I hope this helps you. Best of luck, Dr Andrew Moore.
