I have a front tooth that has had a root canal done

Q. Hi, I have a front tooth that has had a root canal done on it a few years ago but it has now got infected and I have an absess on it. The X-rays of the rooth canal all look fine and that the job was done correctly. I am now being advised that I need to have my front tooth extracted which is scaring me as I am only 30 years old and do not want to have a false/implant here. Apparently an apicectomy isn’t going to be much use but I really don’t want to lose the tooth. Can you recommend anything or is an implant the best option for me? If so, can you reassure me that it will look good? Many thanks.

A. hi many thanks for your enquiry, the best option in this case sounds like an implant, if this is done by a competent surgeon the aesthetic result can be beautiful. hope this is helpful.
