I HAVE A FRONT TOOTH CAP THAT NOTICEABLY STICKS OUT

Q. I HAVE A FRONT TOOTH CAP THAT NOTICEABLY STICKS OUT IN FRONT OF THE ADJOINING TOOTH. I ASKED MY DETINT IS THIS COULD BE RECTIFIED SO THAT BOTH FRONT TEETH ARE FLUSH AND HE SAID NO BECAUSE ITS THE WAY THE TEETH ARE SET IN THE GUMS, BUT I HATE TO SMILE, BECAUSE IT IS THE FIRST THING THAT IS SEEN BY MYSELF AND IT MAKES ME NOT WANT TO SMILE. I REALLY WOULD LIKE THIS PUT RIGHT BUT I AM ON A TIGHT BUDGET, BUT THE WAY I FEEL I WOULD NOT HESTIATE IN OBTAINING A LOAN IF THIS COULD BE CORRECTED.

A. This is a common problem and can often be fixed by orthodontics (such as inmn aligner, invisalign or a fixed brace) or using veneers or crowns for a more immediate solution.  Usually more than 1 tooth needs to be restored if the veneer/crown route is taken to allow your smile to be in harmony with your face.  Please contact my surgery for an appointment for a free cosmetic consultation.
