I Have A Denture And I’m Thinking About Getting Veneers. Or Is There Another Procedure That I Could Have To Get The Smile I Always Wanted?

Q.
Hello,
I have a denture in my top row of teeth at the front and was thinking about veneers. Is it possible to have veneers even though there is no tooth there? How much roughly would it cost for me to have veneers? Or is there another procedure that I could have to get the smile I always wanted? What is the length of the procedure? I have already inquired about an implant but I had a scan and it revealed that their is not enough bone for me to have the implant.

Thanks.

A.
Hi and thank you for your questions. Veneers are only possible where you have teeth already present, as they are made to ‘stick’ onto the surfaces of the teeth. If you do not have teeth present here then you could consider bridgework or new crowns/bridges retained by dental implants. If there is not enough bone then it can be possible to place a bone graft to allow you to have implants – you can be referred to a surgical specialist or dentist who has a lot of experience with these grafting techniques to help you with this

I would advise that you have a second opinion from a very experienced and ethical implant dentist.  Kind regards, Mark.
