I have a crown on one of my front teeth anc a cap on the other, am I suitable for Invisalign
Q. Hi, I have a crown on one of my front teeth anc a cap on the other (they were knocked out when I was about 14). I’m 28 now. Other than that my teeth are in relatively good condition (no fillings, some gum recession). Am I suitable for Invisalign because of the crown? Many thanks,
A.
The early trauma and heavily restored history of the teeth would make me cautious. Careful analaysis of Xrays, and a detailed discussion of risks should be done. Probably by an orthodontist on the GDC specialist list.
