I have a crown in the lower jaw but I have pain in the upper jaw

Q. I had a gold crown removed that had been with me since 1952……and decay was underneath……dentist drille for temporary crown…..i am awaiting the permanent crown. that was a week ago….three days ago, i had dental work done on the opposite side……peridontal …planing and scaling….. for three days, i have been troubled with pain in the upper jaw above the crown…(the crown is in lower jaw)…i am quite uncomfortable. is this natural? perhaps the crown is not level with the upper teeth and causing pressure??? help! thanks,

A. Hi

Could be the bite that need correcting. Maybe you should see your dentist for adjustment next week
