I have a crown but would like to have my teeth whitened, what can I do?

Q.
Hi,
I’m 18 and have really bad teeth, they make me self conscious and insecure about my appearance. My front left tooth is a crown as I had an accident which broke my natural tooth. The tooth to the left of that is in bad shape, and possibly needs removing and a new one putting there. My teeth are also discoloured and this is a major issue for me these past couple of years. I haven’t tried any whitening products that you can buy etc because my crown matches the colour of the rest of my teeth so if I had them whitened then the crown right at the front would stand out. I just want to smile with confidence, and would like some advice on what I should do? Would it be possible to sort my teeth out in one day? because I don’t want to be walking around with even more dodgy looking teeth as I go to university and I would be really embarrassed. Hope you can offer my some advice. I am very self conscious about my smile. I am also very nervous!

Hi thanks for your email and Happy New Year

The best thing for you to do is to find a good cosmetic dentist near you so that you can be fully assessed for your treatment needs before proceeding with any procedures.

Have a look at the list of dentists on the website and call to make a consultation appointment as soon as possible

Kind regards

Mark
