Q. Hello Dr Moore I am 28 years old and for a number of years i have extensive work done on my teeth. I have some big fillings and 3 root treatments. I have had to have some small fillings done on the front of my teeth as well. I hate my smile as one of my front teeth sticks out more than the other and also worry about what my back teeth are going to be like when i get older due the amount of work i have had on them. Im looking to have a nice bright smile but also the peace of mind that my back teeth are strong. Please can you recommend what options to take if i chose cosmetic dentistry. Kind Regards
A. Firstly I would stablise you bite by placing crowns on the heavily filled back teeth. You could then consider a brace to straighten the teeth or veneers to improve the colour, position and contour. Let me know if we can be of any further help.
Regards Andrew
