I hate my plastic denture but I cannot afford anything else. I have lost my confidence. What can I do?

Q. I HAVE AN UPPER PLASTIC DENTURE WHICH I ABSOLUTELY HATE I ONLY HAVE 4 UPPER TEETH LEFT SO I WILL EVENTUALLY LOSE THEM ALL. I TAKE THE DENTURE OUT AT EVERY OPPERTUNITY ESPECIALLY AT HOME WHEN I EAT BUT I CANT STAND THAT PLASTIC DENTURE IN MY MOUTH! I CANNOT AFFORD ANYTHING ELSE WHAT CAN I DO THIS MAKES ME SO UNHAPPY AS I THINK YOUR TEETH ARE SO IMPORTANT I HAVE LOST MY CONFIDENCE.,
A. You might be able to have a more cosmetic denture made outside of that you are looking at more advanced treatment such as implants.

Please help,
I hate the plastic in my mouth!!! I have upper partial denture and lower made of metal and plastic, which is not much of a problem. The problem is the upper partial, it fits me well but wearing the plastic for an hour or so makes me sick! Is there another type of partial denture made of different material? such as metal? Due to the periodontal desease I am left with only 4 from the center to the left . Please advise
thanks

i receive my dental care from a NHS practice and i feel that i will need a partial denture to replace 3 missing, bottom teeth. i cannot afford implants because of my financial situation and i don’t think my practice offers them anyway (i have been with this practice for many years and trust them) so was wondering if you could give me an estimate on prices? how much should i expect to pay for a partial denture to replace 3 missing teeth, in the lower jaw? i want a good material and one that blends nice;y with the rest of my teeth

hi there. i was wondering if theres anyway i can get new teeth for free on nhs or any other way. my teeth are in a bad way and would take a miracle to fix them so im lookin for dentures or something. having these teeth just now has giving me low self- esteem low self-confidence and its making me depressed. will my GP refer me to a specialist unit ? i would love to be able to go out and meet new people but i get embarrassed when starting conversations with strangers. i just want my smile back i havent smiled in about 3 year because of it

You need to see a dentist first you may qualify for free NHS treatment if you are on benefits etc so speak to them first
