I had root canal is it possible to replace existing filling with a white composite
Q. I had root canal done 2 years ago and have noticed that the filling used turned the tooth a shade of gray. Is it possible to refill with a white composite that is will make the chewing surface white and smoother. Thanks
A. Yes a white filling will help the colour of the tooth, however a root treated tooth can turn a bit darker when the nerve is removed
