I had my teeth whitened and now my teeth are very sensitive. Will this pass?

Q.
Hi
I had my teeth laser whitened this morning which consisted of two 15 minutes sessions and one 20 minute session I experienced no pain until around about two hours later now I have constant pain in all my teeth it feels like raw nerves are exposed. Is this normal and apart from taking pain relieve like ibuprfen is there anything you can suggest?
Kind regards
A.
THE TOOTH WHITENING PROCESS CAUSES THE PORES IN YOUR TEETH ENAMEL TO OPEN OFETN RESULTING IN SENSITIVITY. tHIS SENSATION SHOULD LAST FOR NO LONGER THAN 24 HOURS AFTER THE TREAMENT BUT IS COMPLETELY NORMAL.
oTHER THAN TAKING IBUPROFEN/PARACETAMOL AS YOU HAVE BEEN DOING. yOU CAN APPLY A SENSITIVE TOOTHPASTE TO THE TOOTH SURFACE TOPICALLY WITH YOUR FINGER WHICH SHOULD HELP TO REDUCE THE SENSITIVITY A LITTLE.

Hello, I had a tootth whitening one week ago and after 3-4 days a teeth that has a crown has started to hurt a lot. I am unable t see my dentist for a couple of days since I am out of town. What do you think the problem is, what can I do right now? Thanks

The tooth might just be senstive give it a few days and if it is no better go and see your dentist. Whitening should not effect a crown.
