Q. Hi Dr Julian Caplan, Im thinking about having my teeth sorted out. I sucked my thumb from when i was two, ive only recently stopped now in 19! I had braces, and my teeth went straight again, but they still wernt very noticable, as my front teeth have been pushed up. Since i’ve had my brace off, my teeth have started to move, and another gap has formed when i close my mouth. What could i have done to them to sort them out? and how much would it cost? thanks.
A. This is a difficult problem as your jaw bone and your teeth are in the wrong position. You need to seek out a specialist orthodontist for a comprehensive evaluation of your problem
