I Had Braces About 7 Years Ago. Now My Teeth Are Moving Apart And They Hurt At Night. What Should I Do To Fix This?

Q.
Hello Dr Hughes. I hope you can advise me. I previously had braces about 7 years ago, I had two teeth taken out from each side. Recently my teeth have started moving apart and I now have a gap in my two front teeth which seems to be increasing over time. My teeth sometimes hurt during the night and the gap in my teeth is increasing. Which is the best treatment you would suggest for me to close the gaps? I am happy to pay for it.
Thank you for your time.

Hello. Options for closing gaps include, dentures, bridges and dental implants. There are many different types of each of these treatment to be considered. In order to assess which option is most suitable for you I’d advise a consultation with a dentist experienced in tooth replacement and aesthetic dentistry. If you would like more detailed information on each treatment, this website has many informative pages dedicated to providing you with this. Kind regards, Mark.
