I had brace in 18 now my front teeth have loosened a little bit is dental implants a best option

Q. Hi, I am 42 years old. I had braches when I was eighteen and now my denitst is telling me that my roots have been shortened because of the braces. My 4 front teeth have loosened a little bit and I would like some advice as to what I need to do. My dentist advised me to go to an orthodonist and have a splint attached to the 4 front teeth. My husband’s dentist advised to have those teeth pulled and get dental implants. What do you think would be the best option? Thank You

A. It is difficult to advise you without seeing you but a splint may help hold your teeth there in the short term.  If the roots are too short than implants would be the best longterm solution.
