I had a very bad time the last time i had my teeth checked. Can I be knocked out when dental work is being completed?

i had a very bad time the last time i had my teath checked and after the 3rd time of trying to fil a tooth it just fell apart leaving the filling and no tooth,and still they wouldnt take it out.i have a high resistance to the numbing and even after 2-3 injections i still feel a lot of the work being done is there anywhere that you can go that are willing to compleatly knock you out to get the work done and can this be done on the NHS thank you.

You can get sedation for your treatment with your NHS dentist, should you require a General Anaesthetic your dentist would have to refer you to the hospital for the treatment.
