A. WIthout examining you it is difficult to give you a solution.  However many times in similar cases the tooth needs a nerve treatment followed by some type of white filling, veneer or crown.

I have a hairline fracture about a third of the way down on my front tooth. I’ve had absolutely no problems with it and its been like that for over three years. I kinda think the mouth guard that I use at night helps. However, very recently, I’ve felt a burning sensation or maybe a sensitive feeling although when I drink hot and cold and bite on it, I feel no pain. Three years ago, my dentist said that I should leave it as the enamel hasn’t been broken and it hasn’t gone all the way to the back. But this sensation is making me feel that I am about to lose it and the worry is stressing me.
