Q. Hi, Having great difficulty comming to terms with my dentist discovering an infection in the root of the tooth next to one of my front teeth. He says its draining? However did not prescribe antibiotics and is insistent that the tooth needs to come out. (By the way its a crown) He’s mentioned an implant the future but for now I’ve just had an impression done for a denture! He seemed very concerned about the urgency for this to be done and has worried me considerably and how I will come to terms with a denture. I feel he has not given me enough information to make an informed desision. Can you help?
