I Don’t Like The Shading Of New Veneer, Is There Any Way I Can Get It The Same Shade?

Q.
Hello, I’d like to present you with a problem I’ve been having, I had my front 10 of my teeth done with dental lumineers about 5 years ago. My fourth tooth has broke on two separate occasions, so my dentist decided on a 3/4 crown. I just got the permanent one today and it looks a lot lighter – I can definitely tell, and I don’t like it, it seems like it’s doesn’t look right to me, BUT it is the furthest back pre-molar, so it’s not super obvious. My dentist who is also my Brother-in-law says that it is the exact same shade as my other teeth and will darken over time? Is this correct? Is there something I can do to speed up the process and get it to go the same shade as my other teeth? I hope you can help.

Hello and thank you for your enquiry, It is possible it may change over time, I would suggest speaking to your brother-in-law further as he will be most familiar with your particular issues, he may be able to help you with your queries.
