I Desperately Need Braces For My Slanted Teeth, How Can I Pay For Them?

Q.
Hello, I’m 18 and working and I desperately need braces due to my two front teeth have been pushed back and bent inwards, my bottom teeth have been pushed to one side and are slanted, I have a chip on one tooth and they’re all different lengths.
Will I have to pay for them braces? If yes, how much will they cost me? And will I have to pay every year or have a payment scheme? If I will be able to get braces how can I set up an appointment for this or will I go on a waiting list?
A.
Hello and thank you for getting in touch. As you are now 18 years old you are not likely to qualify for Orthodontic treatment on the NHS and will have to pay for it. The cost of private Orthodontics very much depends on the complexity of your treatment and the type of treatment you opt for. In order to get a more accurate idea of the treatment options available to you, the likely length of your treatment and costs, I would strongly recommend arranging to see an Orthodontist or dentist experienced in this kind of treatment for a consultation. Often these will be offered free of charge and so shouldn’t be prohibitive.
Furthermore, most practices will now offer 0% finance options and payment plans to help cover the cost of your treatment. I really hope this is helpful and I wish you you a Happy New Year. Kind regards Marcus Gambroudes.
