Q.. when i smile you can only see the tips of my teeth and i am wondering whether tooth bonding to lengthen my teeth slightly (because some of my teeth r positioned slightly higher than others) would help?

A. if you are after showing more teeth when you smile then bonding of composite(white filling material) on to the tips of the teeth would increase the length of the teeth and let you show more. if you disliked the look this could then be easily removed with no damage to the tooth tissue. however if you liked the look then you could have this done more permanently with porcelain veneers. hope this information is helpful.
