Q. I have had problems with my teeth since i was seventeen, i only have about ten teeth that are my own the rest are either gone or crowned. am currently wearing a plate which fixes onto my back teeth. now my back teeth that are left are suffering and am in constant discomfort( in fact on of them is crumbling) and this is affecting my daily life and confidence, difficulty eating etc. Why cant i have implants on the NHS as i probably could not afford to have them done privately. I have a dentist but he seems to fob me off when i mention implants, im 44 year old and have plenty of years ahead of me but cant bare to spend them in anymore pain could you advise me of my options if i have any. thank you
A. Implants just aren’t available on the NHS. you could look into finance options that most implant dntists offer for these expensive treatments as a way of spreading the costs over a longer period

Hi,Im nineteen years old and get major discomfort with my teeth. when I was 14 I was told I had a cross bite and would need braces. But they never done them for whatever reason. I went back to another dentist when I was 18 and he said I have a severe crossbite.I was wondering is it possible for me to get my whole set of teeth removed and replaced with dental implants? can they be put in so there in the correct position? I have absolutly no self confidence and need something done soon. thank you.
